Another thing that I think is a factor is the relative age of Windows.  Unix
has been around for a long time now, Windows is still relatively young.
Maybe it's just me, but Windows seems to be getting better (and, yes, more
bloated) with every release.  Perhaps by the time Windows is as old as Unix
is today, it'll have better security?
