Being as how you aren't my instructor, I wasn't directing that comment
at you. From what my instructor has said, he should be teaching software
design not a Unix class. I could tell you all kinds of stories that our
instructor has told us about Linux that are bogus. Anyway, sorry about
offending you.

As adjunct UVSC CSIS/CNS faculty for the past 3 years, I take offense at

I will admit I recently overheard a UVSC faculty member telling his
class why
Linux should be pronounced "LINE-ucks." Doh! He's creating an entire
class of
annoying people -- somebody STOP HIM!
