Compact Flash *is* IDE already.  You just need to adapt the pinout.  You
can buy such an adapter, or just get lots of little wires to connect the
thing to an IDE cable.  My bet is to go buy a simple adapter (much like
the 2.5" to 3.5" ide adapters).
