The problem with your assumtion is that _tend_to_make_more_money_ only happens for certain people. In a lot of places here in coporate America busting your butt would get you a pat in the back but not a whole lot more money. I work in a fast paced environment doing what I love but that doesn't make me rich. I need to moonlight to make ends meet. And I do have two kids and I try to have time for my family and church. So, I guess it all depends on your situation and how profits are distributed.
