Hey all!

I have created a program called the Xml Journal System (XJS), which is
an offline-based journal/diary application. It is much better (at
least in my opinion) than blogging and other diary programs, you can
see at www.xmljournalsystem.com. Please keep in mind the website is a
work in progress, the program is not the only thing in beta =).

Right now, it only supports windows (C# w/.NET). I am currently beta
testing the software with other college students and the feedback is
generally positive (other than the deficiencies that come with betas).

I am thinking of creating a version that runs on Linux (and maybe Mac
if I go the Java route) since I store everything in XML.

What would you suggest I use to create a Linux version of my program?
Should I use Java (never worked with the GUI side) or a c/c++ GUI? I
am much more versed in c++ than Java since that is what I worked with
throughout high school. I will be using a lot of XML/XSLT/XSD
algorithms. Keep in mind that I know the Linux environment (I have
run Gentoo since high school).

Thanks,
Matt Strum
