A newbie friend wants to install the gcc cross compiler for avr
microcontrollers on his Suse 10.0 installation. In debian, the packages are
"avr-libc binutils-avr gcc-avr". How does one search for and install packages
in suse?
One site claims that "cross-avr-gcc" is in the OSS distro but not on the DVD,
but the only place I've been able to find such a package from even a remotely
reputable source is:
