This is one topic that I was interested in, though never had the
funds/time/umph to get the ball rolling. My sad story aside, I came in
contact with a guy who was setting it up and having trouble and I
recommended heading to the UUG because even though I've only been to one
meeting myself, I used to see the mailing list full of things from the
members about it. I know he showed up to a meeting and it looks like he's
registered on the UUG site, but I doubt he is an active member of the club.

My end point is this guy was an IT major and had never heard of the UUG. He
had ample knowledge of linux already. I don't know how much advertising for
the UUG goes on around the Crabtree, but I haven't seen much around the
Clyde. Those are two buildings full of people who don't need newbie
meetings but would probably be interested in the more in-depth topics being
suggested. Just my thoughts.

But since I'm a lurker I will just go with one request:

> - homemade salsa

Can we have a repeat on those two? We could even expand the second to have
like, a salsa connoisseur meeting where everyone brings their favorite
salsas and a bag of chips and we taste test them all. Man...I'm hungry.
