Yeah, it's cheaper now, but no better. Service will stop working, only
power cycling the modem helps (which is all tech support ever tells you
to do). That happens a few times a month, if not more.

We got a "faster" connection, but since so many people in our complex
hopped on the deal, we get, oh tonight's good, 250 KB/s from kernel.org.
Right when we first got the "upgrade" 50 K/s from kernel.org was a fast
night. They apparently put in another line for cable modems to the
complex, so we're about where we were speed wise before the "upgrade".
