You are probably in prime position to see them.  Heritage and DT are the
last of campus housing to be on hubs, and the virus population is mostly
apparent to OIT.  If someone gets a virus/spyware, it usually brings down
the network in the building and the security team sniffs them out pretty
quickly.

I'd be interested in what you find crawling out there, though I wouldn't be
surprised if you don't see a whole lot.  The fact that symantec is offered
free and that every time you (or anyone else on campus) authenticates you
are scanned for known trojan/worm ports has cut down drastically on
virus/worm activity from what I hear.
