Again, I have never used Fedora.  The times I have used CentOS I have 
used it on severs without X.  I have never done a minimal install of 
any Red Hat clones, so I don't know how small it can get.  I know that 
Debian a couple of years ago required less than 100 MB for a basic 
system.
