I run a webserver (on Fedora Core 7) with a website where someone needs
direct control over the files in it. However, I don't want them to be
able to see any files outside of their webroot, since some of them are
somewhat sensitive. However, we don't want passwords being passed around
in plaintext, which makes FTP problematic. I tried setting up a chroot
jail they could access via sftp with Jailkit (
http://olivier.sessink.nl/jailkit/ ), but I couldn't get it to work.
Does anyone have any recommendations that I could try? The easier it is
to set up, the better.
