Here are my Linux filesystem anecdotes: I've used ReiserFS on lots and lots of machines...until they started exhibiting weird filesystem problems after awhile.
I tried XFS once -- when the machine lost power shortly aftwerward, the entire XFS filesystem got corrupted. I was unable to recover anything. I've used ext3 on lots of machines before and after my period with ReiserFS. I've never had a problem with an ext3 partition unless the hard drive itself actually died. I stick with ext3 now. ~ Nathan On Jan 23, 2008 1:18 PM, Maulik Mistry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > So which file systems are preferred by the members.
