Hey all,

I cleaned my digital picture frame one last time before I sent it off to my
mom, and after reassembling everything I plugged it in for one last check to
make sure everything was golden and it wouldn't turn on. If I plug the
adapter in by itself the light on it will turn on, but as soon as I plug it
into the laptop the light turns off and the laptop doesn't turn on at all.
I guess it is a short? Basically I just wanted to die when this happened (I
was *just* going to the post office to mail the thing). I know nothing
about how I could diagnose it and fix it, so I was wondering if I could get
some suggestions from the crowd. Hopefully nothing expensive since the
laptop cost me $45. A friend suggested finding a computer engineering
major. I'm not sure that fixing laptops is something they're trained in
though. Anyway, that is my sad story. Suggestions will be appreciated
muchly. Thanks,

Joshua
