I was curious as to what tools I can use to figure out what kind of
hard drive I have (SATA-I vs SATA-II), and what settings and tools I
can use that will make it go a lot faster than the about 20 Mb/s I'm
getting with it. I get the feeling that my hard drive is where my
performance bottlenecks (especially with boot time, which I have
optimized in several other ways, but it still slower than my 4 year
old desktop). Thanks.
