I totally agree about "High Definition" hurting displays. It seems it sometimes even hard to find a 1920x1080 display on a laptop that's worth buying. I'm not an Apple fan but I like that they are pushing for higher resolutions with the macbook pros. Didn't Linus Torvalds have some recent rant about display resolutions? Phillip, why the big priority on the NOT widescreen? I have heard about people preferring them before but I haven't actually heard why and how it feels/looks better. I'm just curious to hear the arguments, it may persuade me to try them out. Has anyone here personally tried the Chromebook Pixel? -Logan On Sat, Apr 6, 2013 at 10:49 PM, Nicholas Blatter <[email protected]>wrote: > On Sat, Apr 6, 2013 at 9:41 PM, Richard Esplin > <[email protected]> wrote: > > System76 has produced a couple of "professional" laptops.
