UWCGIA is an organization for everyone at the UW who uses GIS, remote sensing, and related technolgies. See the following web page for a description. http://wagda.lib.washington.edu/uwcgia/ The web page, and the related page on GIS courses offered at the UW, provide links to people and units at the UW who are using these technologies, in an attempt to further collaboration with each other, and to share what we are doing with those outside the UW.
UWCGIA meets from time to time to discuss issues of campus-wide interest. The last meeting was about the Washington Geospatial Data Archive 2.0 effort.
