Greetings all,

We are hoping that you will help us spread the word about two new 11 month
fellowships with the Partnerships team here in the Seattle office.


The positions:


   -

   The River Programs fellow will work with staff in the NPS’s Conservation
   and Outdoor Recreation Programs, primarily the Hydropower Assistance
   program, and partners to develop and expand on geospatial tools and
   research products to assist the NPS in developing recommendations for
   outdoor recreation and conservation opportunities in Federal Energy
   Regulatory Commission proceedings. The goal is to improve information and
   tools for project managers to protect our rivers and develop best

   The Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance (RTCA) program fellow will
   work with NPS Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Programs’ RTCA staff and
   local partners on community-led natural resource conservation and outdoor
   recreation projects that connect people to close-to-home nature and the
   outdoors. The work with selected communities in the northwest includes
   community assessments, site inventories and analysis, facilitating
   community engagement, and planning and design recommendations and will
