If you are interested, I have made a very little modif in crossenv which accept 
local
emulators like wine in the .crossenv file.

I think there is also a little problem in the script bin/package when I 
crosscompile.
I have commented a test in this script and it works as I want. It is in the
4.2 versions and may be already modified in your version.

I have also made an include file which I add in front of my C or C++ files
with xxxx-gcc -include "myinclude.h" and which seem's to work with all the
programs I try to cross-compile for UWIN/MINGW (some thousands of C or C++ 
files).
If somebody is interested with this include, tell me.

For the VC libraries problems i have seen that there are some versions on the 
Microsoft site :
-The 2005 version
-The 2005 version for SP1
-The 2008 version
-The 2008 version for SP1
And more ?
