Hello,
I'm trying to install UWIN on a Vista (64-bit) system, so since the current
release is a bit old, I grabbed the lastest betas. However, I can't even get
base installed.
I go through the dialogs (why does it install to C:\Program Files instead of
C:\Program Files (x86), by the way?), and I get a black ksh.exe window which
says, after a couple minutes:
Starting UWIN 4.4 installation.
Select OK for any ``Access Violation'' popups.
However, there's no CPU nor disk usage that is notable. I've never tried
UWIN on a 64-bit OS before, nor on a multi-core box. So I'm really not sure
what to start looking at.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Warmest,
--Matt Lewandowsky
P.S. Does this UWIN beta include the ksh 2009-05-05 beta (and, if so,
presumably the rest of the 2009-05-05 ast)?
