I'm having some problems getting cron to work. To enter a schedule I type crontab -e and I get the following error message: at: /dev/tcp/local/at: cannot open service [No such file or directory]
Trying to figure out the problem, I touch a file at the specified location, creating directories as required. After CD'ing to the directory, I run crontab -e again and I can create a schedule. If I CD to another directory and try it again, I get the same error as above. If I create the entry, cron still does not execute the task. I can even create the schedule in the /etc/crontab file with no success. Any help would be appreciated. -- Jesse Swensen
