Hi!
First of all congratulations for arriving at 1.0! I'm following the
progress you're doing with this project and I must say I'm very
impressed - not only by the endless amount of options but especially by
the overall functionality& very slick hacking, gluing together various
solutions/standards - simply amazing.
OK, so I've seen the release today morning& tried compiling it, this is
what I got:
I did not manage to reproduce your problem in none of my centos system.
I have found reference of this problem in other projects. It looks like
your kernel-headers.x86_64 is not up-to-date
Well, I've googled it too and I've seen the flag you've submitted as a
possible solution.
With:
CFLAGS="-DOBSOLETE_LINUX_KERNEL" make
I get:
[gcc -pthread] lib/netlink.o In file included from lib/netlink.c:19:
/usr/include/linux/rtnetlink.h:487: error: expected
specifier-qualifier-list before ‘__u64’
/usr/include/linux/rtnetlink.h:656: error: expected
specifier-qualifier-list before ‘__u64’ make: *** [all] Error 1
Which is somewhat not much better.
Upgraded from:
kernel-headers-2.6.18-274.7.1.el5.centos.plus - 2011-10-18
to:
kernel-headers-2.6.18-274.12.1.el5.centos.plus - 2011-11-30
Package changelog does not mention any recent issue in relation to netlink. Any
ideas?
