Hi, i am pleased to announce another Unbit-sponsored project.
The BlastBeat server: https://github.com/unbit/blastbeat/ it is (or better, will be) an extremely fast HTTP/HTTPS 1.1 proxy aimed at modern web applications management. The concept is pretty simple (and already used by other projects like Mongrel2 ot zerogw), the server parses the http request and build a series of zeromq messages forwarded to one or more backend nodes. Support for websockets is already available. In the next few days, another company (20tab S.r.l.) will release a python-framework (called Tremolo) based on BlastBeat. I have plan to develop another one for ruby+eventmachine. The long-term idea is having uWSGI natively speaking with blastbeat to use it as a container for blastbeat-based apps. If you want to join the development, fork on github or subscribe to the official list: http://lists.unbit.it/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/blastbeat -- Roberto De Ioris http://unbit.it _______________________________________________ uWSGI mailing list [email protected] http://lists.unbit.it/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uwsgi
