It isn't, why do You think that this is related? IMHO You are mixing two different issues here, I anwsered why You are getting TemplateDoesNotExist exception on /favicon.ico. If You are having issues with authentication it's a separate issue. But I don't see that in logs You provided, all I see there is issue with /favicon.ico, so what is the problem with login? Saying that " i can't authenticate into my application" doesn't really tell us much, there is unlimited number of issues that could hide behind this, starting with bad login/password and ending with DB issues. I suggest You to run ./manage.sh shell and try to authenticate by hand.
