The routing mechanics work like a charm! This is awesome, Roberto.

One issue I had (which is not related to my original question):

        When the router code is touched the router is killed and 
reloaded/restarted, but will end up in

                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]
                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]
                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]
                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]
                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]
                kevent(): Bad file descriptor [core/event.c line 726]

This is current unstable. It's not an issue for me right now, just wanted to 
let you know. If you need help with debugging this, let me know.
