Sorry for top quoting, I will make a note of it so I do not repeat the mistake. Thanks for the input. I will double check the server name to verify. In regards to running commands such as: uwsgi --socket xerase.sock --wsgi-file test.py and then going to the site to check for the test.py message. I do not see it and instead I receive a time out error message. Any ideas on what would cause this issue? Recently, I have been using the following site as a guide to setting up the system: http://uwsgi-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/Django_and_nginx.html When I run the test code for uWSGI according to the above site I cannot get uWSGI to serve up files to the browser. Instead, I get time out messages. Another question: In the nginx.conf file there is a place to specify the root. I currently specify the root as a path to my /templates/degauss html directory where it finds my index.html file. Is this correct? If not, where should the root point to? Thanks again for your help, Alex Just discovered the problem with uWSGI! I contacted our IT department and we needed to free up some blocked ports on the server via IP tables and SALT. This is the reason I could not render pages from uWSGI. Hopefully this is the last of the issues I will run into. I should have thought of this potential problem earlier in the process. Thanks for trying to help! I accidentally top quoted this morning when I was not paying attention on a conference call and hit the send button before cutting and pasting. My apologies! Then the issue is your nginx config, if it's a wrong server_name on your config or the default server that catches all traffic i don't know :) > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alex McGregor > Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2016 1:37 PM > To: uWSGI developers and users list <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [uWSGI] Need Help With uWSGI > > Sorry should have mentioned it!
