I am in the process of this installation, and am concerned
about valve-to-piston clearance. An acquitance installed Max heads on an
early 1200 cc Venture. He had clearance problems when he used the Venture
installation cam timing instructions, but when he reinstalled the cams using Max
cam installation instructions there were no clearance problems. I intend
to do the time-honored means of measuring clearance using modeling clay, but
would like to know if anyone out there has gone down this path before.
