Hey Guys,,, If you need to gear your machines taller just drop in the pinion and ring gear from a Venture. The set is 11% taller than a max. as the pinion has 10 teeth on a venture and 9 on a max with the ring gear count staying the same. No, they have to be replaced as a set. You can't swap just the pinion. If that isn't enough, the 2nd generation Venture has a super tall 5th gear that should drop right in a max I think. I'm looking into that myself for my 1st gen Venture to get better fuel range when I go cross-country.
