I just took my Vmax out of winter storage, and he's purring like a kitten. I stabilized the fuel during the long cold months here in Chicago, so the slight -and I emphasize very slight - "roughness" to the throttle response is normal, I'm sure. I have noticed, however, a very slight increase in temperature readings. Again, I want to emphasize slight increase, because the temp needle rests just below the halfway mark, as it always does at a steady 45-65 m.p.h. Because I am extremely attentive to even the slightest change (no matter how small) to any performance aspect of my Vmax, I have taken notice to this slight increase in temp reading. The temp needle normally rests just below the halfway, allowing one to see almost the entire screw in the middle of the temp gauge's face, but now with the needle resting just a little closer to the halfway mark, I can't see quite as much of the screw. Please don't think me mad or insane for this observation! I'm just curious as to the incremental increase. After revving the rpms a bit, however, I did notice the temp needle go back to the "usual" resting place. What gives? Could the stabilized gas be causing the slight increase in temps or is it because I haven't revved up the rpms enough yet since puling it out of storage? I know, just like a hibernating bear, anything that's been laid up for a while needs a little time to return to its usual form. Could it possibly be anything else? Thanks guys!!!!
