Like the grump "Old Man" I get concerned about all the talk about mounting big
tires on small rims. C'mon guys, motorcycles are not like cars. The tire has
a round profile that is specifically designed around a certain size rim to
achieve it's shape. When you use the wrong width rim it changes the design
profile. This means the tire will be more round or more flat then it was
designed to be depending on the rim. Use the right tire on the right rim and
you will be much happier and safer.
