When you say 60 miles a tank, is this around the the time when the fuel light 
comes on?  That's when mine comes on.  It only takes about 3 gallons +/- a 
tenth to fill when my bike is on the sidestand.  This is around town.  Best 
on a trip was 90 when the light comes on.
