I'm sure powder coating is out of the question, but I recall some very high
temperature paints that came in different colours that were able to withstand more
than 600 degrees centigrade. It came in different colours and I will never forget the
orange colour I used when the Honda's CB 400 I prepared won the race at Silverstone,
making a lap record and beating even the 1000cc bikes. when the race ended, the pipes
had turned bright red by the cylinder head exhaust side and the colour diminished to
an orange standard colour when the pipes entered the silencer. When the bike cooled
down the whole exhaust system returned to the original orange colour.
I cannot recall the brand or type of paint, but it really worked fine.
