Maybe, they're referring to a carbon AND an aluminum canister for the system, Hindle does not make a double canister system. (unless somebody did a "Billy Bob Special" on the original header)

that wasn't what he expected to hear. Hopefully, he
will be able to get to the bottom of this but was asking if anyone on
the list thought that this might be possible, (Hindle having a full
system with dual exhausts etc).

Don't think so, Mr. Hindle knows the pipe works as it is, and won't do any changes.
If that was the case, he should concentrate in finding more ground clearance, instead of reducing the tube diameter as he did, to address that problem.
