The Yamaha service manual calls this part the "piston metal" and hlsm.com
calls it "PISTON,FRONT FORK" the part # is 3XJ-23171-L0-00. It is not in
the microfiche until 98 or 99. It took me a while to find the right part.
Also all the other parts for a fork rebuild are on hlsm.com. This was the
only part I could not find until I called them and they looked at a later
year microfiche. Hope this helps.
