Gary, if your kit is like mine you probably won't have enough stock to cut 2
new one peice spacers. what i did was to use the stock ones and stack the
new ones on top, this is no problem IF you put 1 of the kit washers on top
of the springs then the new spacer, then the other kit washer and the stock
spacer with the stock spring washer ( with the lip ). this arrangment gets
more of your spacers in the tube for stability and helps you keep track of
the top washer while you're trying to push the cap in place and get the
first couple threads to catch. no easy task for me at 5ft 4in. and 140#.
don't know what all you're doing but i dropped my fork 1" with the kit, put
in the emulators and springs, and 1 1/2" preload worked out to extra spacers
of 4 5/8". hope you get it all together.....steve#1131
