Charles,
Hopefully, your wiring harness contains the three wire connector to
feed your Vboost controller. On a factory Vboost bike there is a 3
wire connector present inside the left intake cover ... the plastic
that is behind the intake cover provides a mounting point for the
Vboost controller, (all the way to the rear). There are two bundles of
wires that come out of the Vboost controller ... one has three wires
that connects to the three wire connector I was just talking about,
(bat, gnd, and a red/black wire that is a bridge onto coil 3 .. so it
can determine the RPM of the bike). The other is a barrel connector,
(and there is a little ring to hold that built into the plastic
backing .. behind the fake air intake cover), that connects to the
wiring feeding the actual servo motor ... (there are 5 small gauge
wires in there). I would think that you would already have the barrel
connector and wiring that came with your controller/servo ... since
one end is hardwired into the controller and the other end is
connected to the servo. If whoever sold you the set did not pull this
out of their wiring harness then ... you are screwed and will have to
make a substitute connector. If your manual does not have a decent
picture of the Vboost apparatus I will scan one for you. The Vboost
motor is bolted to rubber insulated supports that are directly under
the instrument panel ... on the cross bar ...

Subject: Two questions on V-boost installation

Hi folks,

Now my intention is to install the V-boost just for tuning purposes,
but being my bike a European non V-boost max, I need to know where to
connect the round connector on the servo-motor, since I cannot find
the right plug on my max. The question is, does the European non
V-boost bike have the right connector hanging there or do you have to
look around or make for the connector? It is a round connector with
six positions. Looking at my bike I could not find anything of that
sort.
How and where are you supposed to bolt on the servo motor inside the
max?
