Hi all. Just got a call from John Furbur. He has asked me to relay this
message...

"I have already said once to the individuals that are not happy with their
seats "CALL IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR SEAT 303-638-VMAX".....however NO
phone calls have been made. All you have to do is pick up the phone & call to
let me know you're sending your seat back & I'll have a stock seat waiting.
This has been offered in the past & no one has picked up the phone. From
every indicator I have had so far this is just a reason to b*tch. If you want
your original seat to be done, it's no problem, it's just gonna take one week
longer."

I do not own a SportMax seat, but am considering it with my 28" legs...

Yours is one of the few hard-feelings reviews I've ever heard about. I don't
understand your comment about "top dollar". The advertised (rmsportmax.com)
price for the seat is US$110 for a front seat. The HLSM site advertises the
COVER for the front seat to list for US$151.63, while they discount it to
UD$128.28. This does not include the foam, time, etc.

I don't see how paying less than the new list price for a custom part is a
bad thing - especially if the part maker will replace it with a stocker if
you don't like it.

What Lee means is that after you pay top dollar for you new SportMax seat
you may have to take a heat gun and/or drill bits to your new "wonderful"
sportmax seat.
