Last summer I bought the one from Dale Walker, it has worked
great for me. It helps keep my Max run a lot cooler on those HOT
nasty HUMID days in Tokyo. That fan really pushes the air.
If the "Dale Walker Aluminum Fan" helped you run cooler, it means you didn't have a cooling problem at all. The aluminum fan was tested by a few, very reliable sources, and the results were it actually flows a little LESS than the stock plastic fan.
Furthermore, by using aluminum instead of plastic, you're applying more load to the motor that operates the fan, forcing it to operate a heavier piece than the one it was designed for.
Yes, "Water Wetter" will give you a little (just a little) help, since this product is designed to be used with water only, and does nothing to improve the cooling properties of the antifreeze.
At the end of summer I also started using Red Line Water Wetter
and that really helped also.
