Having studied Paul's tech clinic vid on the
installation of the emulators I have one question
before I start. What fork oil should I use? The Race
Tech info states 20w for my 99 max but I am sure that
I have heard some of you used 15w instead. I weigh
just about 190 pounds and ride fairly hard. I will be
installing Progressive springs along with the
emulators and my forks are 3/4" through the clamps.
What are your recommendations as to fork oil I should
use? I will consider all replies and go with the
majority recommendation as a starting point.
Lastly, I intend to drill the fork drain holes and
use stainless hex screws and copper washers to make
future oil changes easier. What size hole should I
drill and tap?
