high y'all...i need help...my front end is freaked!!!
stock 88 max...
furbur fix done...
forkz dropped thru yolkz 1.5 inches...
progressive springs fitted...
15 weight oil in...
just installed dymagz and pirelli radials...
brembo gold line caliperz and discs new on front...
no other changes...
handling below 100mph---better than ever...
between 100 and 115---startz to feel really light...
hit 115 and the front wheel thrashes about as if it
wantz to leave the bike!!!...feelz like i have a jelly
front axle!!!...
stock wheelz were good for 145mph...no worries!!!
furbur fix and fork modz all done weekz ago...
so something in the new wheel and brake set-up
is freaking out my front end...
wheelz are balanced...in line and everything is tight
one strange thing i've noticed is that the disc rotors
are loose on the spreaders...they really rattle from
side to side and make a lot of noise when
braking!!!...
is this normal 4 floating discs???...this is my first
experiance of this type of disc so i don't know if
this is a problem or not!!!...
i thought that floating discs had a wavy spring washer
to tighten up any slack!!!...these don't...
the brake kit is a brembo gold line same as fitted to
a ducati 916...i'm going to run the bike
(carefully)with the discs removed to see if they are
my problem...sadly i'm working and can't get to it for
probably quite a few dayz...
any input really appreciated as i'm totally stuck here
