Dear friends, As far as I know, the moment you turn the ignition key to the "on" position you should hear the servo motor open and close the butterflies with it's typical "BZZZZ-BZZZ". So if I connect the brown cable on the three spade connector from the control box to a 12 V DC source (a battery I have at home) and the black to the negative of that same battery I should be able to produce the same effect as if the whole thing was wired on the bike...... Well it does the first "BZZZ" but not the second and the butterflies stay put at 3/4 of totally open. Am I missing something? Maybe the remaining grey line connecting to the yellow from the rev counter signal should also be wired, but I don't want to cut the bike's harness open till I know that the system I purchased second hand is working properly. For your information, and changing polarity on the round pin connector (using the right pins as stated in the manual) I can open and close the servo motor or leave it where ever I want. Any input on this matter will be much appreciated. Charles ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) .............................................
