Thats the way they're supposed to be. The difference in tire and wheel
height is around 3-3.5 inches difference. The smaller wheel doesn't have
as much of a gyroscopic effect, making the bike less stable with cheezy
suspension. Thats why Yamaha won't do 17's, then they would have to fix
the suspension. Its cheaper to put a 18" front wheel.
