Hello All, I have a theory and was wondering it has been tried before, and if so did it work??? I was going to remove the "Y" from my air box and trim the lip on the bottom of the "y" were it connects to the lid.... then place a 1/8" nylon washer between the "Y" and lid on all 7 screws . has anyone tried this approach before? I know that drilling the "Y" with 2 or 3,,,,, 3/4" holes is a option, and if the drilling didn't work you could always place rubber plugs in the holes. I have a 98 shimmed, K&N filter, and stock exhaust. opinions please!!! TIA Dennis .............................................
