An offset rear wheel is not necessarily a source of handling woes. Nor is it
uncommon. Many bikes have this, including BMW's, without ill effects. It is
often done to provide clearance for a shaft housing. The main thing is to
ensure that your rear wheel is straight and not pointing to the left or
right.

The front wheel however **must** be in line with your head stock.

Sometimes putting radials on a flexy flier bike makes handling problems
worse. Do yourself a favor and stiffen the frame up. Put a brace on the
frame and or go to solid motor mounts...

cheers, Terry
