There are a variety of aviation paint strippers that are designed for taking
the paint off of Cessnas (aka Witchita Spam Cans), which are of course made
of aluminum. Particularly cool, if you haven't seen them before, are the
"dry" strippers, which you apply, let dry and remove the dry residue.
