HI Guys,

The only way to be sure about something like this is to do a fuel pump load 
test. It's simple, just tee in a 10 psi gage between the pump and the carbs.

At WFO the pressure souldn't fall below 50% of cruise pressure (3 to 5 psi 
most of the time is standard pump pressure).

I've have bikes and cars do this and it would be from "sucking air" on the 
inlet side of the pump, or too much heat in the pump area, or restrictions 
in the feed flow.
