Hi Carlos,

I live in Spain, but have been part of this tech group for a year.

My MAX is a 1999 model and it handled well for the first 2000 km. I had installed the
Dynojet Stage 7 plus an after market exhaust and within 3000 km I had burnt both
tyres. I could easily notice that my back tyre was absolutely flat in the centre but
did not realise that my front one was also badly worn from braking. V-maxes do not
handle anyway, but when tyres are worn they behave like pigs, so in your case a change
in tyres will work wonderfully, but both front and rear. Also check for worn brake
pads since they wear at a higher rate than tyres, specially the rear ones. After doing
this you will find a new bike, but remember this, Max handling is not one of its
strong points. If you still want more there are plenty of goodies that you can apply
or install. Race Tech emulators and springs as I understand you already have, so check
Paul's web site to get more info.

Rergards,
Charles ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] )
