Ken,
Don is right ... in fact it is scary ... the thing idles like a sewing
machine when it is really happy. I have also noticed, (and it could
very well just be me), that when vibration at light throttle cruising
starts to get irritating ... it is time to check the sync. But I think
that you will find the sync will last a long time, (likely to need
only a check at oil change intervals etc, or when you are screwing
with other stuff), ... and you will probably need to pay more
attention to the pilot mixture getting plugged up, (depending on your
ride frequency), than having to worry about carb synchronization.
