They all agree it handles better than the "Busa" but on a speed test comparison (no comparison at all!!!) the ZX-12 went 187 MPH while the "Busa" tested in June 1999 (against the Honda CBR1100XX) went 194 MPH... Kawasaki argues that they have altered its engine-control unit to detune it, (BULLSHIT!!!!) according to certain agreement signed in Bologna between the Jap and European manufacturers to restrict the final speed, with a voluntary speed cap of 186 MPH (Bullshit again!!!) I wonder if they forgot to invite Suzuki to that meeting. Now for my 2 cent opinion, I would like to say: When the first Superbike appeared on the market in 1982 (Honda Interceptor) everybody called it, "ugly", "not for the street", "kitchen appliance", etc. but now, we got so used to them, we wish we would have bought one at that time. Well, in my humble opinion I think the "Busa" is beautiful, I had the chance to ride 2 of them, 1 "Copper & Gold" and 1 "Blue & Silver" (gorgeous!) and I kept a grin plastered on my face for 3 days after those rides..the bike fits, handles and accelerates like a dream!! OK, let the flaming begin, I can take it!!!
