I recently got asked what I paid for the Long Rod from one of our
members.... I wanted to let everyone know what I paid. I don't think its
something that I need to keep in the closet so to speak... I gave PCW my
stock nitroused broken vmax and this is a overall breakdown..
to upgrade the motor to a 1500 Long Rod cost 8600.00
To upgrade to a chain drive cost around 2k
To upgrade the miscellaneous stuff, pipes and convert the electrical was
around 2k...
That is all, a reasonable price to pay for the state of the art if you
ask me....
PCW returned to me in exchange for taking so long a couple of decent
costs.
1. They paid for the shipping of my bike to them
2. They also covered the entire assembly of the whole bike.
3. They spent lots of time researching what it takes to get the bike to
200HP with a 1500 at no charge.
4. They paid the cost of having the bike shipped back to me....
Call me crazy but I think if the bike holds together I can't complain
with the deal... I know I have been frustrated with the time delays but
when this bike gets here I expect that it will all be worthwhile...
I think that PCW runs an honorable business. I think that they try to be
fair. I think they make a wonderful product. I think that this bike will
officially scare the living hell out me. I think my need for speed will
be quenched... I think that I won't drink and drive this bike. I think I
won't be wheelieing this thing so I won't worry about the oiling
issues...I think I will see dead relatives while accellerating really
hard....
I will update the life and times of a maxer gone mad after the bike is
in my hot little hands...
Until then, Y'all drive safe, Ya hear ?
take care Phil
