This is the only additive that I have ever considered using but I still
believe that if you use a good oil and change it at the right time it is
not needed and I have the education to make this decision .
We have a new member in the VMOA and his name is Tom Clements out of
Deland Fl. He told me if I remember right that he ran a before and after
test on a dyno in Daytona and found three more horsepower buy just
adding X-1R to the engine and rear diff. but I was introduced to a
wonder lub. back in the 80's that gave me a 250 + rpm gain in top gear
and I was sooo excited !!! until the engine started to eat camshafts on
a regular basis.
Just a thought

Innovator in Auto Racing Honored by U.S. Space Foundation

X-1R Performance Lubricants Inducted into Space Technology Hall of Fame

(April 6, 2000 - Colorado Springs, CO) A special honor was bestowed upon a leader in the industrial and automotive world this week as X-1R Performance Lubricants was inducted into the US Space Foundations Space Technology Hall of Fame. X-1R becomes the 34th product and the only lubricant in history to receive the prestigious induction and recognition. Accepting the honor, as part of the 16th Annual National Space Symposium was company President, Buck Parker Sr. The ceremony took place on Thursday, April 6th, in the International Center of the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO.

Since 1988, the United States Space Foundation, in cooperation with NASA, has honored the innovators who have successfully transferred technology originally developed for the space program into the consumer/commercial marketplaces.

Daytona Beach-based Sun Coast Chemicals was honored for its development of the X-1R Friction Eliminating "Crawler Track Lubricant". The product was developed in response to NASAs desire to find a bio-degradable, non-toxic lubricant for use in the Space Shuttle Crawler, the mammoth transporter that moves the Space Shuttle from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the launch pad at a deliberate one-mile-per-hour pace. The lubricant must withstand the extreme pressure of a twelve million-pound payload.

Within its involvement in the world of auto racing, X-1R has received widespread endorsement from winning race teams citing performance enhancing attributes and credit for increased results. In addition to the X-1R Performance Lubricants involvement with 3 Daytona 500 winning efforts of the Morgan-McClure racing efforts with drivers Ernie Irvan and Sterling Marlin, X-1R has made major impact in the increasingly popular world of Dirt Late Model racing and numerous other forms of motorsports. Championships and race victories from varied arenas of racing competition have noted the significant impact from use of X-1R products.

During the 1999 racing season, X-1R Performance Lubricants played a primary sponsoring role in the history-making and worldwide Internet broadcast of three major Dirt Late Model racing events.  X-1R's sponsoring participation in the "USA National 100", the "World 100" and the "Dirt Track World Championship"  enabled the Dirt Late Model racing community their first-ever opportunity for "Live" flag-to-flag coverage of major events.  As a result of X-1R's involvement in the Dirt Late Model arena numerous teams, drivers, fans and other affiliates involved in Dirt Late Model racing have become staunch supporters of the company's diverse product line.

"We are honored by this special recognition and have appreciated the ongoing relationship which we have enjoyed with NASA, the Kennedy Space Center and Lockheed," noted X-1R Performance Lubricant President Buck Parker, Sr.   "Our success with the specially developed product for the Kennedy Space Center has opened many avenues in the corporate and manufacturing industry for our full product line."

The widespread acceptance of the X-1R Performance Lubricant products has led to many commercial applications currently used by major corporations worldwide from major automotive manufacturers, to mining and drilling and it is also used on-board the largest ocean going vessels in the world. X-1Rs results have even spawned a family of dedicated-use lubricants for the sporting goods and recreational enthusiast, including a Gun Lube, Fishing Reel Lube, Bike Lube and Skate Lube. Its wide variety of high performance racing lubricants are used by top teams in NASCAR, AMA, IMSA, HAVATAMPA, Circle Track, Drag Racing and Go Kart programs. X-1Rs Shooter Pack Gun Lube and Cleaner was recently named by Guns & Ammo Magazine as one of the Top 10 Best Buys for the 21st Century. Also, the companys X-1R Bio-degradable Hydraulic Fluid was chosen as one of the Top 10 Lubricants in the world by Lubricants World Magazine in 1999.
